Ecotech Print Solutions – Returns & Refunds Policy

At Ecotech, we aim to provide high-quality, reliable products and service. However, we understand that there may be times when you need to return an item. Please read our return policy carefully to ensure a smooth process.

1. How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, please contact us at admin@ecotechprintsolutions.com.au to request a Return Authorisation (RA) Number. No returns will be accepted without an RA number. Once issued, the RA number is valid for 30 days. Ensure the RA is included with your returned item.

Items must be returned in their original packaging, unused and undamaged, with no additional labels or markings. Re-sealed items will not be accepted.

2. Change of Mind / Incorrectly Ordered Goods

We accept returns for incorrectly ordered or unwanted items, under the following conditions:

2.1. Toner Cartridges, Ink Cartridges, and Consumables

Must be returned within 30 days of the invoice date. Must be unopened, unused, and in original packaging. Items must have at least 6 months of shelf life remaining. Returns may incur a 20% restocking fee. Shipping costs are non-refundable, and return shipping is the customer's responsibility. Use tracked shipping—we are not responsible for items lost in transit.
2.2. Printers & Office Equipment

Must be returned within 30 days of purchase. Must include all original packaging and components (e.g., starter cartridges, manuals, cables). Items must be unused, undamaged, and free of additional markings. Starter kits must be sealed; resealed items will not be accepted. Subject to 20% restocking fee.
2.3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for change-of-mind returns:

Opened or used consumables Custom or special-order products Software or downloadable items Clearance stock
3. Faulty Items / Warranty Claims

All goods come with guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.

If you believe an item is faulty:

Contact us with: Your invoice number Description of the fault Photos or evidence of the issue If the issue is verified, we will provide a replacement, credit, or refund. In some cases, we may refer you directly to the manufacturer for support.
3.1. Genuine Brand Consumables

Contact the manufacturer first for troubleshooting. If unresolved, request a case number and provide it to us with: Product serial number Machine model Photos or print reports If required, we will arrange return shipping at no cost.
3.2. Compatible Cartridges

Must be over 49% full to be eligible. Must not be expired, tampered with, or refilled. Items older than 12 months from invoice date are ineligible. Do not dispose of suspected faulty items—we must receive them for evaluation.
4. Damaged in Transit

If your item arrives damaged:

Notify us within 48 hours of delivery. Send photos of the packaging and item, along with your invoice number. We’ll assess and arrange a replacement or refund where applicable.
5. Return Shipping

All return postage costs (unless for confirmed faulty items) are the customer’s responsibility. Items returned with freight unpaid or marked "receiver to pay" will be rejected. All returns must be sent with tracking. Ecotech is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.
6. Refunds

Approved refunds will be processed back to your original payment method. Please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.
